Ukraine focussed on upholding recovering shipping operations amid heightened Russian attacks

In the past month, for the first time this year, Russia has escalated its military strategy to include targeting shipping and port infrastructure, prompting Ukraine to seek international intervention.

Ukrainian authorities have appealed to the United Nations, specifically requesting that the International Maritime Organization (IMO) dispatch a monitoring mission to assess the situation.
