TT Club announces leadership change at Singapore branch

After five years as Chief Executive of TT Club and 15 years leading Thomas Miller’s Singapore operations, Yiah Soon (YS) Ng has announced his retirement.

Ng was succeeded by Kamel Tlili, TT Club’s Regional General Manager for Asia Pacific, who assumed the role in September.

Kamel Tlili, who became Regional General Manager of Asia Pacific a year ago, will also serve as Chief Executive of TT Club’s Singapore Branch. A well-established figure in the marine mutual community, Tlili previously spent 14 years with TT Club’s sister mutual, the UK P&I Club, where he held roles as Underwriting Director and Claims Director.

“In the brief time since returning to Thomas Miller, Kamel has already made great headway in expanding the Club’s reach in Singapore and wider South East Asian markets, ensuring the Club’s Members and the broader insurance market know that TT is committed to providing unparalleled local support and coverage,” commented Kevin King, TT Club CEO.

Tlili also led British Marine’s P&I Underwriting division in Asia at QBE for six years. During his first year at TT Club, he strengthened the Club’s standing in Southeast Asia as a leading provider of mutual insurance for the transport and logistics industry, complemented by robust loss prevention services for its members.
