Why British manufacturing matters for steel doors
Three things actually change when a steel door is manufactured in the UK rather than imported: lead times shorten because there’s no shipping window, custom specifications can be turned around faster because the factory is reachable, and after-sales support sits inside the same time zone and legal framework. For doors that have to last decades and may need warranty work in year 7 or year 10, that local accountability is worth more than the headline price difference.
Certification depth is the other dimension.
