Sirius/Neo Bossa service makes first call at Rio Brasil Terminal

Rio Brasil Terminal (RBT), a business entity of International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) operating in the Port of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, recently welcomed the first call of the Sirius/Neo Bossa service operated jointly by CMA CGM and Maersk.

The arrival of the 9,000-TEU Maersk Lota, followed by the 10,000-TEU CMA CGM Columbia, marked the beginning of the weekly service at RBT.

The service has the following port rotation: Tanger Med (Morocco) - Salvador (Brazil) - Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) - Santos (Brazil) - Itapoá (Brazil) - Paranaguá (Brazil) - Santos (Brazil) - Itagua (Brazil) - Tanger Med (Morocco) - Algeciras (Spain).

The Sirius/Neo Bossa service connects Europe and the Mediterranean to the East Coast of South America via the transshipment hubs of Tanger Med and Algeciras.
