RXO has partnered with Highway to strengthen freight security and improve carrier onboarding through advanced identity verification and real-time shipment tracking.
The partnership integrates Highway’s Carrier Identity platform into RXO’s operations. The technology will help verify carrier information faster and reduce the risk of freight fraud.
RXO is also deploying Highway’s Load Lock+ ELD Tracking solution. The tool provides real-time shipment visibility and enhances load security while cargo is in transit.
“Our partnership with Highway enhances our industry-leading efforts to create a more secure and transparent supply chain,” said Lou Amo, President of RXO’s truck brokerage business. “The platform helps us mitigate risk while simplifying the onboarding process for our carrier partners.”
Highway said the partnership will help both companies tackle rising cargo theft and freight fraud across the U.S. supply chain.
“Freight fraud requires a united front,” said Michael Caney, Chief Commercial Officer at Highway. “By streamlining vetting and providing unprecedented visibility, we are helping RXO create a more secure and efficient environment for every load.”
The new platform will become part of RXO’s multi-layered fraud prevention program. The company combines technology with human oversight to identify risks such as double brokering and chameleon carriers before they affect shipments.
RXO recently received CargoNet’s “Best in Cargo Security” Award and the FreightWaves Fraud Fighters Award for its efforts to combat cargo theft and freight fraud.
