Reliability improves. Maersk back on top.

SeaIntelligence Maritime Analysis has issued the reliability data for May 2015. Global average reliability continues to improve for the second straight month after having reached rock-bottom in March 2018. However, despite the improvement to almost 72% this is still a record-low level for the month of May.

For Maersk Line which in years past almost always had the number 1 position in terms of reliability amongst the large global carriers, May 2018 saw them return to that position. For the first time in 40 months, the Danish carrier managed to improve global average reliability to see them reach the top spot ahead of APL in the second position.
