OOCL to withdraw Asia-Europe sailings

In response to the expected low demand in the market, OOCL announces the withdrawal of the following Asia-Europe sailings:

Asia – West Mediterranean Service

Asia-Adriatic Sea (AAS),
o   Westbound: ETA Shanghai on July 31 in Week 31
o   Eastbound: ETA Trieste on September 2 in Week 36

o   Westbound: ETA Shanghai on August 7 in Week 32
o   Eastbound: ETA Trieste on September 9 in Week 37

o   Westbound: ETA Shanghai on August 21 in Week 34
o   Eastbound: ETA Trieste on September 23 in Week 39

o   Westbound: ETA Shanghai on August 28 in Week 35
o   Eastbound: ETA Trieste on September 30 in Week 40

o   Westbound: ETA Shanghai on September 4 in Week 36
o   Eastbound: ETA Trieste on October 7 in Week 41

For service recovery arrangements, the Asia-East Mediterranean and Black Sea (EM1) sailings that fall on the same week as the AAS blank sailings listed above will add calls to Koper by adjusting its own port rotation as follows:

Shanghai – Busan – Ningbo – Shekou – Singapore – Port Said West – Koper – Izmit – Ambarli – Constanza – Odessa – Piraeus – Port Said West – Jeddah – Port Kelang – Busan

The concerned EM1 sailings with port rotation adjustments starting from Westbound are:
o   ETA Busan on August 4 in Week 31
o   ETA Busan on August 11 in Week 32
o   ETA Busan on August 25 in Week 34
o   ETA Busan on September 1 in Week 35
o   ETA Busan on September 8 in Week 36
