
Neptune Pacific has appointed Martin Henry as General Manager Technical and Marine, effective 12 October.
Based at the shipping company’s Singapore head office, Henry will lead technical and marine management across Neptune Pacific’s fleet. His responsibilities will include fleet performance, safety, compliance and operational standards.
Henry brings more than 40 years of international maritime experience across ship management, fleet operations and technical leadership in Europe and Asia.
He joins Neptune Pacific from Taylor Maritime, where he served as Chief Technical Officer. Previously, he was CEO of Tamar Ship Management, where he helped expand the fleet under management from 17 to 45 vessels and later led its integration with Grindrod Ship Management.
Henry has also held senior technical positions at Carisbrooke Shipping and CMA CGM, with responsibilities covering global fleets, newbuilding programmes and technical performance.
He is a Class 1 Chief Engineer, Chartered Engineer, Chartered Marine Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST).
