MSC announces fresh freight rates

MSC has announced the following freight rates as from 1 May 2020 until further notice but not beyond 30 May 2020.

All Prices are in US Dollars unless otherwise specified.

  • SCS (SUEZ CANAL SURCHARGE): US$35 USD / 20 DV - US$70 USD / 40 DV-HC
  • PCS (PANAMA CANAL SURCHARGE) when applicable: US$160 / 20 DV - US$320 /40 DV-HC
  • CSF (CARRIER SECURITY FEE): US$11 / CONTAINER
  • PSS (PEAK SEASON SURCHARGE): US$100 /CONTAINER

MSC has also announced the following freight rates as from 25 April 2020 until further notice but not beyond 25 May 2020.

  • PCS (PANAMA CANAL SURCHARGE) when applicable: US$ 260 / CONTAINER
  • PCE (PANAMA CANAL EMERGENCY SURCHARGE) when applicable: US$ 15/ CONTAINER
  • CSF (CARRIER SECURITY FEE): US$ 11 / CONTAINER
  • EBS (EQUIPMENT IMBALANCE SURCHARGE): US$ 75 / DRY CONTAINER
