MSC adjusts emergency operations surcharge for West Med, Adriatic and Israel to America trade

MSC has announced an adjustment to the following emergency operations surcharge (EOS), effective from 10 October 2024.

The updated EOS rates are as follows:

  • Previous EOS: US$1,200 for 20’, US$1,500 for 40’, and US$2,000 for reefers.
  • New EOS: US$1,700 for 20’, US$2,000 for 40’, and US$2,500 for reefers.

The existing freight rates remain unchanged. For reference, these rates are available below. All prices are quoted in US Dollars unless otherwise indicated.
