Mitsui to send staff to Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center

Japanese technology company Mitsui & Co has agreed to the secondment of specialist technicians to the Copenhagen-based JapanMærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping, following the signing of a partnership agreement.

Mitsui and the centre say they are “committing to a long-term strategic collaboration” to develop zero carbon technologies with other centre partners for use in the maritime industry. In addition Mitsui will join the centre’s advisory board which contributes to the strategic development and direction of the centre.
