Mitsui E&S reports higher revenue and operating profit in FY2025

results

Mitsui E&S reported higher revenue and operating profit for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2026, supported by growth across its business portfolio.

The company generated ¥353.2 billion (US$2.21 billion) in net sales, up from ¥315.1 billion in the previous fiscal year. Operating profit increased 62.7% to ¥37.6 billion, while gross profit rose to ¥69.5 billion.

Profit before income taxes reached ¥40.0 billion. Profit attributable to owners of the parent totalled ¥38.5 billion, compared with ¥39.1 billion a year earlier.

The company’s financial position also strengthened during the year. Total assets increased to Â¥494.6 billion, while net assets rose to Â¥233.8 billion from Â¥174.2 billion. Retained earnings climbed to Â¥143.1 billion, reflecting continued improvement in the balance sheet.

Mitsui E&S also reported stronger operating cash generation. Net cash from operating activities nearly doubled to ¥28.4 billion, compared with ¥14.9 billion in the previous fiscal year. Cash and cash equivalents increased to ¥54.6 billion at year-end from ¥33.4 billion a year earlier.

The financial statements also show that revenue recognised over time from long-term construction contracts and related services reached Â¥100.5 billion, highlighting the importance of the group’s project-based operations.

The results reflect a year of revenue growth, stronger profitability and improved cash generation, while the company further reinforced its financial position.
