The revised charges will take effect on July 1, 2026, for non-regulated countries and July 13, 2026, for regulated countries.

Under the updated import surcharge structure, cargo moving through Fényeslitke will be subject to a DPI of EUR 150 for 20-foot dry, 40-foot dry, 40-foot high-cube and 20-foot reefer containers, while 40-foot reefer containers will incur a charge of EUR 200.

For Budapest, the import surcharge has been set at EUR 150 for both 20-foot and 40-foot reefer containers.

On the export side, Maersk will apply a DPS of EUR 50 for 20-foot dry, 40-foot dry and 40-foot high-cube containers moving through Fényeslitke. Export reefer cargo will be charged EUR 100 for 20-foot units and EUR 200 for 40-foot reefers.

At the Budapest dry port, export reefer containers will be subject to a surcharge of EUR 50 for both 20-foot and 40-foot equipment.

According to Maersk, the revised tariffs are intended to support the continued provision of inland logistics services, network coverage and service reliability across the Hungarian market.
