Israel Ports Company launches logistics land tender at Haifa Bay Port

Israel Ports Company (IPC) has launched a new tender for land-use authorization in the Bay Port hinterland in Haifa.

Israel Ports Company (IPC) has launched a new tender for land-use authorization in the Bay Port hinterland in Haifa, aiming to expand logistics and port-related activities in one of Israel’s key maritime trade hubs.

The tender covers approximately 18 dunams of land designated for logistics and operational port activities under a ten-year authorization framework.

According to IPC, the site is strategically located within the Haifa Bay area, providing direct integration with core maritime and cargo operations. The tender also allows for sub-authorizations related to port operations, subject to compliance with the tender specifications.

The Bay Port hinterland has become an increasingly important logistics hub in recent years, supporting cargo storage, trade flows and supply chain continuity between port terminals and inland logistics facilities.

IPC stated that the full tender documentation is available through the company’s official website. A professional site tour has been scheduled for May 27, 2026, while the deadline for bid submissions has been set for June 30, 2026.

Pinhas Zeruya, CEO of Israel Ports Company, said, “The Bay Port hinterland is one of the most significant growth engines for the logistics and maritime trade sector in Israel. The tender we are publishing is intended to allow professional companies to integrate into the heart of the developing port activity in the Haifa Bay area.”

He added that the project is expected to support the development of Israel’s economy while strengthening the country’s national supply chain resilience.
