HMM and Ocean Network Express (ONE) will introduce an enhanced service connecting Far East Asia with Latin America.
This new product, named Far East-Latin America Express (FLX), is expected to commence operations on 16 August from the port of Shanghai. The service will need 42 days for a complete round-trip.
The port rotation of this service will be Shanghai (China), Busan (South Korea), Lazaro Cardenas (Mexico), Busan (South Korea), Shanghai (China).
“We have launched the FLX as the cargo from China to Mexico increases. The new service will provide customers with a premium loop rotation serving Far East Asia to Mexico trade as well as additional network coverage between Asia and Mexico. The FLX will be joined with our existing NW(New West Latin America Service)1, NW2, and NW3 services to provide an extensive network connecting Asia and South America,” stated an HMM official.
