Hapag-Lloyd will introduce a new process for submitting Dangerous Goods documentation for export shipments originating from Bulgaria.
From 1 November 2026, customers must submit all DG documentation through the Booking Amendment Tool in the carrier’s customer portal.
Documentation submitted by email, through other communication channels or to other departments will no longer be accepted.
Customers must use the online tool to:
- Submit Dangerous Goods details
- Update existing DG information
- Change a shipment from non-dangerous to Dangerous Goods
When submitting a request, customers must select “Change DG Information” and upload the relevant supporting documents.
These may include preliminary or final IMO Dangerous Goods forms, Material Safety Data Sheets, Safety Data Sheets and tank certificates where applicable.
Customers must also provide a clear description of the requested amendment.
