Fincantieri has signed a contract with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, joint owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts, to build a third ultra-luxury hospitality vessel.
The agreement strengthens the long-standing partnership between the two companies. It also reinforces Fincantieri’s position in the ultra-luxury hospitality segment.
Fincantieri classified the agreement as a large order. The contract remains subject to financing and customary closing conditions.
The new vessel will be delivered in 2031.
It will be the third ship in a new class of ultra-luxury hospitality vessels. Fincantieri will build the vessel at its Ancona shipyard.
The order follows the delivery of Four Seasons I earlier this year. The vessel was the first developed under Fincantieri’s Navis Sapiens vision.
A second vessel is already under construction. It is scheduled to enter service at the beginning of 2028.
Fincantieri said the latest order reflects growing demand for a new category of bespoke luxury travel experiences.
The new vessel will feature the same all-suite, residential-style concept as its sister ships.
The ship will measure 207 metres in length and approximately 34,000 gross tonnes. Its suites will feature expansive terraces and open-air living spaces designed to maximize guests’ connection with the sea.
“This new order marks another significant step in the development of the partnership with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, which has become a benchmark for innovation in luxury hospitality at sea,” said Pierroberto Folgiero, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Fincantieri.
“The decision to expand the fleet with a third vessel reflects the strength of a long-term industrial vision. It also confirms the market’s appreciation for a concept that has successfully created a new segment at the intersection of luxury hospitality and advanced shipbuilding.”
Folgiero added that the project strengthens the role of Fincantieri’s Ancona shipyard as the company’s centre of excellence for ultra-luxury shipbuilding, combining innovation, craftsmanship and industrial expertise.
