CrimsonLogic, Mastercard ink collaboration agreement to digitalise government payments and services

PSA Group’s CrimsonLogic, a Singapore-based global technology company specializing in digital government and trade facilitation solutions has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mastercard, the second-largest payment-processing corporation worldwide.

The collaboration aims to seamlessly digitalise government payments and services by leveraging CrimsonLogic’s expertise in digital government solutions and Mastercard’s extensive global network and innovation in payments.

Furthermore, the partnership focusses on enhancing Government-to-Citizen (G2C) and Government-to-Person (G2P) digital interactions and transactions. By combining their strengths, the companies aim to address challenges in the public sector related to government services, cybersecurity, financial inclusion, citizen engagement, and data utilisation.

The goal of the partnership is to deliver more effective and efficient solutions, fostering smarter, responsive, and citizen-centric government programmes.

“Governments worldwide are grappling with the need to modernise and digitalise their operations to keep pace with rapid technological advancements. Citizens now demand the same level of efficiency and convenience from government services as they experience in the private sector as consumers. CrimsonLogic has a proven track record of more than 35 years of developing and implementing G2C platforms for numerous governments worldwide, leveraging cutting-edge technology,” stated Lawrence Ng, CEO of CrimsonLogic.

Additionally, CrimsonLogic’s digital government platforms play a crucial role in enabling governments to offer citizens seamless access to a diverse array of civic services. In their discussions, the companies will explore the integration of Mastercard’s cutting-edge payment technology into CrimsonLogic’s platforms. The aim is to facilitate secure and convenient digital payments for various government services.

Lawrence Ng added, “This collaboration with Mastercard seeks to further our offering, and allow governments to leverage our expertise in combination with Mastercard’s financial inclusion capabilities, to create a powerful synergy that will benefit citizens and government agencies alike.”
