CPA to meet the deadlines for new port

THE Cebu Port Authority (CPA) is working to beat the Oct. 3 for the loan agreement between the Philippines and South Korea to construct the new Cebu International Container Port in Tayud, Consolacion, Cebu.

CPA General Manager Angelo Verdan said that President Rodrigo Duterte signed the loan agreement with the South Korean Government in a visit to Seoul last June 3.

The deadline to effect the foreign loan for P10 billion will be four months after the signing of the loan agreement, or Oct. 4, 2018.
