CMA CGM implements PSS from South Türkiye to North Europe

CMA CGM, the French carrier, introduced the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from 10 January 2024 (gate-in date). This surcharge will remain in effect until further notice.

Shipments from South Türkiye, notably the ports of Mersin and Iskenderun, will be subject to the surcharge. This PSS will apply to cargo heading to North Europe, including Ireland, Scandinavia, the Baltic States, and Poland.

Furthermore, the surcharge is applied to all types of cargo. The PSS will be US$110 per unit. The PSS for shipments to the United Kingdom is US$127 per unit.
