CMA CGM implements hazardous surcharge of US$2,800/box in Chile

Marseille-based ocean carrier CMA CGM has announced a new hazardous surcharge, which is effective from 10 May (loading date).

The French box line said the new surcharge will be applied to shipments from North Europe, United Kingdom, Scandinavia, Poland and Baltic to Punta Arenas in Chile.

CMA CGM noted that the hazardous surcharge will be US$2,800 per container, while the company has not announced when this surcharge will be removed.
