CMA CGM has appointed Esra Bora as Managing Director of ANL Container Line and General Manager of CMA CGM Oceania agencies.
Based in Melbourne, Bora will oversee the Group’s operations and strategy across the Oceania region.
She succeeds Shane Walden, who resigned from his positions at ANL and CMA CGM.
Bora brings more than 18 years of experience in the maritime industry, including over eight years within the CMA CGM Group.
She joined the company as General Manager in Türkiye and later held several commercial and regional leadership roles across Marseille and Asia.
Her previous positions include General Manager of CMA CGM Vietnam and, most recently, General Manager of CMA CGM China.
CMA CGM said Bora will officially begin transitioning into the new role on 1 June 2026.
