CMA CGM will implement a new Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from Lating America to West Africa, scheduled to start on 1 August (based on the loading date).
The new surcharge will last until 10 August for Colombia, Panama and Venezuela and until further notice for all the destinations mentioned below.
CMA CGM’s new PSS will apply to dry cargo originating from the West Coast of South America, the West Coast of Central America and Mexico, and the East Coast of Central America and the Caribbean (excluding the French West Indies, French Guiana, Gustavia, Philipsburg, and Puerto Rico) and destined to Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Togo, Benin, Angola, Gabon, Sierra Leone, Congo, DRC, Namibia and Equatorial Guinea.
The surcharge amount will be US$500 per container.
