CMA CGM applies Far East-Tanzania peak season surcharge

CMA CGM informs its customers of the implementation of a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for shipments from Far East to Tanzanian ports.

The new surcharge will apply to all cargo shipped from Far East ports, including North, Central, and South China, Hong Kong, North East Asia, South East Asia, and the East Coast of India to the ports of Zanzibar and Tanga in Tanzania.

Effective from 20 March until further notice, the French carrier has set a PSS of US$500 per container.
