Cavotec has appointed Christoffer Robertsson as Chief Financial Officer, effective 17 August 2026.
He succeeds Joakim Wahlquist, who is leaving the company for another role. Wahlquist will remain with Cavotec until 10 September to ensure a smooth handover.
Robertsson joins from NOVO Energy, where he served as CFO after helping build the company’s finance function. NOVO Energy was originally established by Northvolt and Volvo Cars.
Earlier in his career, Robertsson held finance leadership roles at ABB, Norwegian concrete producer Spenncon and battery manufacturer Northvolt.
“I am delighted to welcome Christoffer to Cavotec,” said David Pagels, CEO of Cavotec. “His international experience in industrial and project-driven businesses makes him well suited to the CFO role. He will help strengthen Cavotec and create value for our stakeholders.”
“It is with great enthusiasm that I take on the role of CFO at Cavotec,” said Robertsson. “I look forward to contributing to the company’s development and supporting its innovative engineering business.”
Robertsson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Queensland and a Master’s degree in Business, majoring in Applied Finance, from Queensland University of Technology in Australia.
