C.H. Robinson launches BidBoardX for committed freight

C.H. Robinson has launched BidBoardX, a new self-service digital freight platform that gives carriers direct access to longer-term committed freight opportunities while helping shippers secure more reliable capacity.

The platform connects carriers with committed freight that was previously available mainly through manual negotiations. Certified carriers can search available loads, submit bids and track opportunities through a single online interface.

According to C.H. Robinson, the platform addresses growing demand from carriers for predictable freight and from shippers for more reliable coverage on key lanes.

BidBoardX is built on C.H. Robinson’s logistics network, which connects 450,000 carriers, 75,000 customers and manages 37 million shipments annually.

Adam McDonough, Vice President for Capacity at C.H. Robinson, said the platform gives carriers of all sizes access to opportunities that match their business, including local, dedicated and drop trailer freight.

The company said the platform also helps carriers build long-term relationships with shippers while reducing the time spent searching for loads.

C.H. Robinson’s logistics experts will continue reviewing and finalising bids to ensure carriers meet shippers’ operational and safety requirements.

Michael Castagnetto, President of North American Surface Transportation at C.H. Robinson, said BidBoardX creates a more structured, network-driven marketplace that improves stability for carriers and delivers more dependable outcomes for shippers.
