

The government of Bangladesh has now lifted the cap on foreign investment in the country’s off-docks and Inland Container Depots (ICDs) to attract increased foreign direct investment in the port and logistics sectors.
The announcement was made in parliament on June 11, when the country’s Finance and Planning Minister, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, presented the budget for the fiscal year 2026-27.
