Ankeri has announced the opening of a new office in Singapore, marking a further step in its global expansion and strengthening its presence in key maritime hubs.
The move is aimed at supporting customers more closely in the Asia-Pacific region, where a significant share of operational and commercial shipping decisions are made. Singapore’s role as a major global shipping centre makes it a strategic location for the company’s continued growth.
The new office complements Ankeri’s existing footprint in Europe, including its headquarters in Reykjavik and its presence in Hamburg, and reflects a broader strategy to operate across major shipping time zones.
Ankeri provides an operating system for time charter execution, integrating contract terms, vessel performance and emissions data into a shared platform. The system is designed to support collaboration between operators, brokers, charterers, ship managers and shipowners, enabling more aligned commercial and technical workflows.
The company works with several leading players in the container shipping sector, including Hapag-Lloyd, Seaspan, SFL, Global Ship Lease and Ernst Russ.
Sandy Lin, based in Singapore, will lead sales operations across the Asia-Pacific region, working closely with customers as Ankeri continues to expand its presence in the market.
