Yusen Logistics has partnered with cargo.one to deploy an AI-powered operating system across its global air freight sales and procurement operations.
The collaboration will support rate procurement, quoting and booking functions across Yusen Logistics’ worldwide network, including inter-branch transactions.
More than 100 Yusen Logistics branches will gain access to cargo.one’s AI-native platform and managed network.
The system enables teams to compare live, static, contract and consolidation rates alongside local and trucking charges within a centralized platform.
Yusen Logistics said the partnership will improve pricing consistency, operational efficiency and decision-making across regions.
The company also plans to integrate the platform with its Transport Management System (TMS).
“Implementing cargo.one’s AI-powered operating system represents an important step in Yusen Logistics’ journey towards pricing digitalization and broader procurement modernization,” said Eisuke Fukagawa, Head of Air Freight Forwarding Unit at Yusen Logistics Global Management.
cargo.one said the partnership will help Yusen Logistics strengthen its procurement infrastructure while supporting future AI-driven automation capabilities.
The companies added that the new system will establish a single source of truth for rates and data management across Yusen Logistics’ global air freight operations.
