Yang Ming expands its European presence

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation has set up a new subsidiary with NAXCO Group in France, named Yang Ming (France) S.A.S, which was launched on 1 January this year.

[s2If is_user_logged_in()]The Taiwan operator has decided to extend its presence in France to reinforce its development strategy, develop local market connections and integrate regional resources.

Yang Ming has deployed vessels on several weekly service routes between Asia and North Europe, Asia and the Mediterranean, Intra-Europe and the Transatlantic trades, through its co-operation with THE Alliance, with regular services to and from Port of Le Havre and Port of Fos-sur-Mer.

“The newly formed subsidiary will help us to proactively expand the local market and raise the company’s market share in Europe and the Mediterranean region,” said the Taiwanese carrier in its announcement.

The head office of Yang Ming (France) is located in Le Havre with a branch office in Marseille.[/s2If]
