The Daily MABUX Bunker Index – 27 February

On a global basis, VLSFO and MGO prices have seen a significant drop of US$8/tonne and US$6.45/tonne, respectively. The biggest regional drops happened in North Europe, North America and Asia & Oceania.

At the same time, the world index of 380HFO is down by US$0.31/tonne, while Asia & Oceania saw the largest decline of US$3.67/tonne.

Fuel prices in Central America remained stable, while Africa & Middle East was the only region to record a gain of US$6.75/tonne and US$9.25/tonne in 380HFO and MGO, respectively.
