One of the major digital road freight forwarders in Europe, sennder, has selected Susanne Schroeter-Crossan as the company’s new chief financial officer (CFO).
With a wealth of experience, Schroeter-Crossan will now spearhead sennder’s financial department. She will replace Amir Avraham, who has developed the finance department over the past five years.
Schroeter-Crossan’s career includes key positions at renowned financial institutions and publicly listed companies such as Zalando SE, HelloFresh SE, and LEG Immobilien SE.
Additionally, her expertise in financial management, ESG principles, and corporate governance has been demonstrated throughout her professional journey. Notably, she has overseen comprehensive financial performance management and reporting for listed companies.
Having chaired the Diversity & Inclusion and Sustainability Committee at Zalando SE and contributed to the ESG Committee at HelloFresh SE, Schroeter-Crossan showcases her proficiency in sustainability and corporate governance domains. Her impact at LEG Immobilien SE involved serving on the ESG Steering Committee, where she played a pivotal role in embedding sustainable practices.
With previous roles at Deutsche Bank AG and Morgan Stanley, Schroeter-Crossan’s background aligns seamlessly with sennder’s strategic objectives for sustainable growth in the upcoming phase, according to the company’s statement.
“I am particularly eager to apply my ESG expertise to address the challenges of the fragmented FTL industry, characterised by excessive empty kilometres, an ageing driver demographic, and increasingly demanding conditions for drivers. Together, we will work towards establishing a more efficient and sustainable road freight network across Europe,” stated Susanne Schroeter-Crossan.
