SeaLead has unveiled its latest offering, the Mediterranean to USA (MEDUS) service, which aims to establish a vital connection between Morocco, Türkiye, and the United States East Coast.
SeaLead believes the new service launch bolsters the company’s presence in the Mediterranean, enhances trade networks along one of the world’s most important shipping routes, and opens up new export opportunities for businesses in the involved regions.
The MEDUS service features a bi-weekly sailing schedule with optimized transit times to the US East Coast. The service’s inaugural voyage will depart from Mersin on 29 March, with a port rotation that includes Istanbul (Türkiye), Gebze (Türkiye), Aliaga (Türkiye), Casablanca (Morocco), New York (US), and Norfolk (US), before returning to Mersin.

strategic initiative strengthens connections to the US, complementing our existing
Transpacific service and reinforcing our position in the region. The new service delivers faster transit times, increased reliability, and greater supply chain flexibility for our
customers.”
According to SeaLead, there are extensive feeder connections to and from Türkiye, serving countries such as Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Spain, Greece, and Romania.
