Russia is improving Northern Sea Route (NSR) infrastructure to make it possible to sail through the Arctic regardless of the season by 2030.

At the St Petersburg International Transport and Logistics Forum this month, State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom director-general Alexey Likhachev said Russia is speeding up technological research and development and the construction of specialised vessels.
