ONE strengthens Asia service network

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has decided to enhance its Asia network by introducing a new service and reforming the port rotation of another one.

The Singaporean ocean carrier will begin a new service between Singapore and Vietnam in the new year. In particular, the 1,577 TEU boxship Haian View will commence the first sailing of the Vietnam Singapore Express (VSX) service on 5 January from the port of Haiphong.

The port rotation of the new service will be Haiphong (Vietnam) – Cai Mep (Vietnam) -Singapore- Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam) – Haiphong.

The service will have a weekly frequency and a 14-day round voyage.

Additionally, ONE has decided to remove Singapore southbound calls from the port rotation of the Japan Straits Malaysia (JSM) service.

The updated port rotation of the JSM service will be Yokohama (Japan) – Tokyo (Japan) – Shimizu (Japan) – Nagoya (Japan) – Kobe (Japan) – Keelung (Taiwan) – Hong Kong – Port Klang (Malaysia) – Singapore – Cai Mep (Vietnam) – Yokohama.
