Net Feasa announces security upgrade to its smart container tracking solution

Net Feasa, a provider of Internet of Things (IoT) digital transformation solutions to the marine, aeronautical, and intermodal transportation businesses, recently announced a patent-pending security upgrade to its premier IoTPASS™ Smart Container Tracking solution.

“IoTPASS™ now enables us to interpret container security and integrity infringements while containers are in transit wherever they are. This development will lead to the improvement of the supply chain risk management services right across the shipping industry, generating additional revenue streams,” explained Mike Fitzgerald, chairman of Net Feasa.

The device, which is called “An Apparatus for Monitoring of Transport Containers” acts as a security bridge between the locking bar and the container, interpreting security infringements and/or abnormalities using Net Feasa’s Context Aware AI capabilities.

In addition, the design also makes IoTPASS™ installation easier. It is quickly snapped onto the container door’s locking bar and spun into place, after which it immediately begins communicating critical data about the container’s journey.

Data associated with security violations such as unauthorized door opening, route deviation, prolonged dwell time, and other shipment irregularities.

In the Smart Container industry, the full solution deals with both the ‘single journey’ and the ‘permanent install’. This IoTPASS™ model will be released alongside the revolutionary 2023 Mobile Satellite release, which will default to satellite reporting when not in range of a mobile network.
