
MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company has announced new Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates for shipments from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan to Europe, effective 15 July 2026 until further notice, but not beyond 31 July 2026.
For shipments from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, MSC has set rates of US$2,550 per 20DV and US$2,850 per 40DV/HC from Colombo to Antwerp and Valencia. From Chattogram, the rates will be US$2,550 per 20DV and US$3,350 per 40DV/HC.
The carrier has also increased rates from India and Pakistan to Europe. From Nhava Sheva and Port Qasim, rates to Antwerp are set at US$4,150 per container, while shipments from Ennore and Kolkata will be priced at US$4,350 and US$4,450 respectively. To Valencia, rates range from US$4,250 to US$4,550, depending on the port of loading.
MSC said the announced rates include the base ocean freight, contingency adjustment charge, piracy risk surcharge and emission control area charges, while additional surcharges, including bunker recovery, ETS, FuelEU, emergency fuel surcharge, terminal handling and security-related fees, will apply separately depending on the origin and destination.
