MSC expands melon export routes from Africa to West Med

As the melon season begins in Senegal and Mauritania, MSC is enhancing its standalone Spain to/from Mauritania and Senegal service to support exports of this commodity throughout the season.

The updated service now includes an exclusive and direct call to Sète in France, catering to the French and Italian markets, along with a direct call to Valencia in Spain to serve the Spanish market. With weekly departures from Dakar in Senegal and Nouakchott in Mauritania, MSC offers competitive transit times from the two African countries to the Western Mediterranean.

Starting from mid-February, the service will have the following rotation:

Dakar (Senegal) – Valencia (Spain) – Sète (France) – Las Palmas (Spain) – Nouakchott (Mauritania) – Dakar (Senegal) – Valencia (Spain).
