A.P. Moller – Maersk will adjust its Asia–West Coast Latin America (AC3) service by removing a South Korean port from its rotation.

The carrier will permanently drop Gwangyang from the service, starting with voyage 619E from Asia, scheduled for 19 May 2026.

The change will also apply on the return leg from Latin America, beginning with voyage 624W, departing Balboa on 9 June 2026.

Maersk did not specify replacement calls, but the adjustment is part of ongoing network optimization efforts aimed at improving schedule reliability and operational efficiency.

The AC3 service connects key ports in Far East Asia with major destinations along the West Coast of Latin America, supporting trade flows across the Pacific.

The removal of Gwangyang may shift cargo flows to alternative South Korean or regional hubs within the network.
