Maersk has announced that the Olga Maersk will omit Sydney on voyages 618S southbound and 623N northbound on the OC1 service. The omission is due to an operational delay en route to Oceania ports and is necessary for schedule recovery.
Import cargo arrangements
Sydney import cargo on board the Olga Maersk 618S will be discharged at Tauranga. It will then connect to the Olivia Maersk 619S for onward delivery to Sydney. Sydney import cargo originally scheduled to load on the Olga Maersk 618S ex Tauranga will transfer to the Olivia Maersk 619S.
Export cargo arrangements
Sydney export cargo scheduled to load on the Olga Maersk 623N will move to the Maersk Rio Blanco 624N instead. It will then tranship onto the Olga Maersk 623N at Tauranga for the northbound leg.
Maersk has not indicated any further disruptions to the OC1 service at this stage.
