LOGISTEED secures commercial data utilisation technologies

LOGISTEED has announced the award of three patents covering technologies that utilise data collected from commercial vehicles

LOGISTEED has announced the award of three patents covering technologies that utilise data collected from commercial vehicles, addressing key operational challenges in fleet management including remote diagnostics, centralised data management and fuel efficiency monitoring.

The transportation industry faces growing pressure to improve vehicle operational stability, maintenance efficiency and fuel consumption management as part of broader decarbonisation efforts.

A central challenge is that vehicle data varies significantly across manufacturers, vehicle models and onboard devices, making it difficult to effectively utilise and manage information across mixed fleets.

The three patented technologies address these challenges directly.

The first covers remote vehicle condition diagnostics, enabling operators to assess vehicle health without requiring physical inspection.

The second addresses the centralised management of vehicle data collected in different formats and under different naming conventions, creating a unified data environment across heterogeneous fleets.

The third covers the collection, calculation and visualisation of fuel efficiency information, supporting both operational improvement and decarbonisation reporting.

Together the technologies contribute to more stable commercial vehicle operations, enhanced preventive maintenance capability and improved fuel consumption management across fleet operations.
