Japan Post is targeting e-commerce business from South Korea, particularly as de minimis cargo shipped on sea is exempted from consumption taxes.

Japan Post has tied up with South Korean forwarder KSE Global Logistics, which ships South Korean merchandise, such as cosmetics, on containers in ro-ro passenger ships (known locally as car ferries) that Camellia Line operates on the South Korea (Busan)-Japan (Hakata) route.
