HMM continues urgent medical equipment transportation to India

HMM has transported 23TEU containers carrying medical oxygen supplies since it started delivering Covid-related medical devices to India on 12 May.

The medical oxygen supplies mainly include medical grade oxygen, oxygen tanks, oxygen bottles, oxygen concentrators, steel pipes to manufacture oxygen cylinders, and associated equipment.

As part of joining efforts to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in India, on 12 May, HMM has decided to carry any container with medical supplies and emergency relief goods to India at a price of US$1. HMM also provides such cargo with container boxes and vessel spaces as a top priority to expedite the delivery process.

An HMM official said, “HMM will continue to make its utmost efforts to ensure fast transportation of medical supplies to India until the difficult situation in the country is over.”
