Hapag-Lloyd updates its intra-Europe NBS

Hapag-Lloyd has announced that effective from 6 September its North Sea Baltic Express Service (NBS) will change to a circular loop rotation with three vessels, each with 2,300TEU nominal capacity.

The updated port rotation of the NBS will be the following: Antwerp (869) – Antwerp (913) – Rotterdam (ECT) – St. Petersburg (CTSP) – Helsinki – Antwerp (869)

The first NBS Eastbound (EB) sailing with the new rotation will be Valencia Express Voyage 2136E with an Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) in Antwerp on 6 September, while the first NBS Westbound (WB) sailing with the new rotation will be Valencia Express Voyage 2136W with an ETA in St. Petersburg on 18 September.

The Hamburg-based line noted that Kotka had to be removed from the NBS rotation. “However, we will be offering a weekly connection between Rotterdam and Kotka with other feeders within our network,” said Hapag-Lloyd.

The first feeder from Rotterdam to Kotka will be Elbsummer Voy 41E with ETA in Rotterdam on 8 September, while the first feeder from Kotka to Rotterdam will be Elbsummer Voy 41W with ETA in Kotka on 14 September.
