Hapag-Lloyd revises charges in Saudi Arabia

Hapag-Lloyd will revise the detention charges for Import and Export shipments in Saudi Arabia effective January 5, 2019, in accordance with new Saudi Port Authority Regulation No. (6/G1/D1). The revised tariff, valid until further notice, is as follows:

  • Import Detention (MHD)

Import “Free Days” provision has been reduced from 15 days to 10 days and thereafter detention tariff of each unit per day has been revised as below :

  • Export Detention (MHO)

Export free time remains the same; however, detention charges will be applicable on Slab basis. The tariff of each unit per day is as follows:

Also, effective January 5, 2019 Hapag-Lloyd will revise its import Delivery Order (D/O) charges, in accordance with new Saudi Port Authority Regulation No. (6/G1/D1), valid until further notice, as follows:

  • Import Delivery Order charges
Charge Description Charge Code Charge Amount (Currency: SAR) Application
Destination delivery fee DDF 325/- Per B/L
Preparing delivery order PDO 30/- Per B/L
Online payment fee (once implemented) EPD 8/- Per invoice
