Hapag-Lloyd, fuel charges

Hapag-Lloyd has conducted its quarterly review of fuel charges. Hapag-Lloyd informs that, effective October 1, 2018 the BAF and LSF charges from the United States and Canada to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands will be adjusted from the current levels of USD 595 per TEU for BAF and USD 20 per TEU for LSF to the following levels:

  • Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF): USD 698 per TEU
  • Low Sulphur Fuel Charge (LSF): USD 20 per TEU (no change)
