Hapag-Lloyd applies peak season surcharge from Peru, Ecuador and Chile to North America

Hapag-Lloyd announced a peak season surcharge (PSS) from Peru, Ecuador and Chile to North America, which will be effective from 13 December until further notice.

The German ocean carrier noted that the PSS will be US$500 per container for dry cargo and US$1,000 per reefer box for Chile to North America shipments.
