Due to ongoing port congestion at Caribbean hubs and in Northern Europe, French ocean carrier CMA CGM announced changes in the EUROSAL service.
To uphold the regular schedule at all current ports and the Panama Canal, the EUROSAL service will temporarily suspend its Le Havre call for one cycle, spanning 10 weeks.
As a result, the vessel COSCO SHIPPING Volga, initially scheduled to call at Le Havre on 16 November 2024, will bypass this port.
The service to Le Havre is set to resume with the vessel COSCO SHIPPING VOLGA, expected to call the French port on 26 January 2025.
During the temporary suspension, imports to Le Havre will be managed through transshipment in Antwerp. For exports from Le Havre, shipments to all destinations will have the alternative option to load from Antwerp, with an ETD of Thursday and a Cut-Off time of Monday at 4 p.m. Exports to the West Coast of South America will be routed through the VICTORY BRIDGE (TDF) via transshipment in Antwerp. Shipments to Cartagena will be redirected via PCRF (D20). For other destinations, routing will be determined case-by-case, using PCRF or VICTORY BRIDGE as appropriate.
The rotation of the service will be as follows: Rotterdam, Netherlands; London Gateway, United Kingdom; Hamburg, Germany; Antwerp, Belgium; Caucedo, Dominican Republic; Cartagena, Colombia; Manzanillo, Panama; Buenaventura, Colombia; Posorja, Ecuador; Callao, Peru; San Antonio, Chile; Callao, Peru; Posorja, Ecuador; Manzanillo, Panama; Cartagena, Colombia; Caucedo, Dominican Republic; Rotterdam, Netherlands.
