Freightos Reports revenue growth in first quarter 2026

Freightos reported first quarter 2026 revenue of US$ 7.2 million, a 3% increase from US$ 6.9 million in the same period of 2025.

Freightos reported first quarter 2026 revenue of US$ 7.2 million, a 3% increase from US$ 6.9 million in the same period of 2025, with gross booking value reaching US$ 343 million, up 24% year-on-year. Platform revenue totalled US$ 2.4 million and Solutions revenue USD 4.8 million, each growing 3% year-over-year.

IFRS gross margin held broadly stable at 66.6% compared to 66.8% in the prior year period.

The IFRS net loss widened to USD 6.5 million from US$ 4.5 million in the first quarter of 2025, primarily reflecting reorganisation expenses incurred during the period.

Adjusted EBITDA improved marginally to negative US$ 2.8 million from negative US$ 3.0 million, consistent with the company’s stated path toward adjusted EBITDA breakeven by the end of 2026. Cash and short-term bank deposit balances stood at US$ 23.5 million at the end of March.

Operationally, the platform facilitated 425,000 transactions in the quarter, a 15% increase year-on-year. Excluding routes involving Middle East origin, destination or airspace, transaction growth exceeded management expectations, reflecting continued expansion across other regions and increased use of alternative routing.

Gross booking value growth was supported by elevated freight rates resulting from capacity constraints tied to the ongoing Middle East conflict.

The number of carriers actively selling on the platform grew to 79 from 71 in the first quarter of 2025, with Ethiopian Cargo and Air Serbia announced as new additions during the period. Unique buyer users reached approximately 20,600.

CEO Pablo Pinillos acknowledged the challenging global freight environment and revised revenue guidance downward to reflect current market conditions and execution realities, while maintaining adjusted EBITDA guidance and reaffirming the company’s long-term strategic direction toward digitalised freight procurement and booking workflows.
