
The DynaLiners Shares Index increased by 138 points from the previous week, reaching 2,671.
The latest result represented a weekly gain of 5.5%. Once again, carrier stocks drove most of the increase.
Carrier index climbs sharply
DLSI Carriers gained 317 points, or 9.2%, during the week.
In contrast, DLSI Boxes declined by 19 points, or 1.3%, to 1,370.
Overall, 75 companies recorded share-price increases, while 46 posted declines.
Hutchison Ports and T.S. Lines lead gains
Hutchison Ports gained 29% following the presentation of its half-year financial results.
T.S. Lines was the strongest-performing container carrier, with its shares rising by 24%.
Other significant carrier gains included:
- Maersk: 23%
- Wan Hai: 21%
- Regional Container Lines: 18%
- ZIM: 13%
Meanwhile, Beibu Gulf Port recorded the largest decline, falling by 15%.
Sahathai Terminal also dropped by 7%, giving back part of its substantial gain from the previous week.
